Rollover Prevention and Technology Course
Around a third of the heavy vehicle crashes in New Zealand involve a rollover. More than half of these involve a truck and trailer. Rollovers are typically caused by:
- Excess Speed.
- Poor Vehicle Stability.
- Shifting loads.
Our Rollover Prevention & Technology course is the only one of its kind in New Zealand. Nowhere else can you get both the theory and practical experience of heavy vehicle stability, control, and technology dynamics. This is an in-cab, hands-on learning experience.
This course has been developed to give drivers an awareness of the dynamics and technology at work during cornering, braking, emergency steering manoeuvres, and in the event of a jackknife.
