Workplace first aid is one of the most important courses. After this course, trainees will be able to confidently evaluate scenarios and administer first aid for a variety of simple and complex situations, including life-threatening emergencies, wounds and workplace injuries, medical emergencies (CPR, choking, etc), poisoning, bites and stings.

What we cover
It covers the theory to level 2* plus the major injury types covered in level 3.
Broken into short, engaging video-based modules, you can do a few per day, ensuring that your brain is fresh each time you return to the course. With 6 month's access, you're free to repeat modules as many times as required.
This course is suitable for all workplaces.
It can be used to refresh the knowledge you gained in unit standards 6401 (Provide first aid), 6402 (Provide basic life support), some of unit standard 6400 (Manage first aid in an emergency situation), and skill standards 41052 (administer first aid) and 41053 (administer basic life support). Or it can be used as an excellent base for a larger number of your team to get useful first aid knowledge at an excellent price.
*Level 3 modules can be optionally disabled by a manager to reduce the level to level 2 and shorten the course from 5 hours to 3 hours. These are covered in our first aid course helpdesk article
Who is this course for?
As the course covers a wide range of injuries and conditions, from mild to severe, it is suitable for workers in all industries, plus parents and other interested parties.
As it covers the level 3 injuries, it is suitable for some higher-risk applications.
