Slinging Loads Refresher Online

If you're working as a crane operator, rigger, or stevedore or you supervise or work with people that do, this course is a comprehensive refresher of the equipment and technique used to sling and lift loads safely.

It will ensure that you're up to date with industry best practice and the skills required to safely complete a lift, whether you are the crane operator or the dogman.

It comes with an optional assessment checklist that can be conducted in your workplace by a nominated person, such as a supervisor.

What we cover

  • Selecting appropriate slinging equipment
  • Assessing worksite risks and controlling hazards
  • Creating a lift plan
  • Slinging loads in various configurations, such as basket, choker and multi-leg

  • Safely removing slinging equipment and closing down the job with the correct documentation and checks

Who is this course for?
